Shrein H. Bahrami Earns iaedp-Approved Supervisor Designation from the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals Foundation.

 

Shrein recently earned the iaedp-Approved Supervisor designation from the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp) Foundation. An iaedp-Approved Supervisor is defined as a professional with a minimum of five years of experience treating persons with eating disorders, no fewer than 6,000 hours of approved work experiencein the treatment and diagnosis of eating disorders and holds the appropriate state licensure, certification, or registration qualifications.

Shrein joins an elite group of professionals committed to excellence in the treatment of eating disorders who desire to mentor, educate and encourage other clinicians in this field who are seeking iaedp’s Certification. Professionals pursuing the CEDS designation are required to be supervised by a qualified professional who has received approval from iaedp™’s Certification Committee.
