Intuitive Eating Support Group

Healing your relationship with food is about more than following meal plans or letting go of dieting. It is about reconnecting with your body, rebuilding trust in yourself, and developing a more flexible and peaceful approach to eating. This group is designed for individuals who are interested in beginning or continuing their journey toward intuitive eating in a supportive and therapeutic environment.

Whether you are recovering from an eating disorder, working to break free from chronic dieting, or simply hoping to cultivate a healthier relationship with food and your body, this group offers guidance, accountability, and community. Together, we will explore how nutrition, emotions, thoughts, and life experiences influence our eating patterns and overall well-being.

Led by registered dietitian Nicole Klawitter, RD, and certified nutrition coach Mina Mogahdam, CNC, this group combines practical nutrition education with evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques and food exposure work. Participants will receive support as they challenge food rules, reduce anxiety around eating, and build confidence in responding to their body’s cues.

Topics explored in the group may include:

boundaries, eating disorder, health, diet

* Understanding the principles of intuitive eating
* Reconnecting with hunger, fullness, and satisfaction cues
* Challenging diet culture and unhelpful food beliefs
* Reducing fear and anxiety around certain foods through exposure work
* Exploring the connection between thoughts, emotions, and eating behaviors
* Developing coping skills for difficult emotions and stressful situations
* Building body trust and body acceptance

In addition to education and skill-building, group members benefit from the encouragement and shared experiences of others who are navigating similar challenges. Participants are invited to bring curiosity, openness, and compassion as they work toward greater freedom, flexibility, and peace with food.
